Done.... plz take a look and tell me what needs to be fixed (added/deleted/modified) and I'll get to it as soon as possible... Does anyone know if the various cities and towns still have TGIDs on the Ft Knox TRS? I know a few used to operate on them mostly as rebroadcast and mutual aid. As always, thanx for the help!

I listen to the Fort Knox TRS quite a bit. Only once did I hear anything, which was just a couple of days ago, on the adjacent entity talkgroups. The one I heard comms on was Meade County. I wonder if the is something enabled as needed...

Thanks for updating the DB and thanks Tornboard13 for providing the information. It answered a ton of questions I had!

My thanx to Thornboard13 as well for the good info, and to you as well, Chief, for keeping by nose to the grindstone!
My FTK contact is no longer in the area so there went a bunch of info.... we identified a bunch of TGIDs and made a big dent in the mystery... we were tracking down TGIDs that were assigned to nearby non-military agencies in Hardin and surrounding counties with some success when he took a new job... so any of the unidentified TGIDs you id, let me know...
keep me posted...

Thornboard13 if you have time cut & paste all of your info in a submission form so you can be rated....

Great information. I have family that lives in Hardin County and I will listen to online scanner feeds to see what's going on down there, from time to time. I think it would be good to have a wiki page with emergency services info (e.g. fire/EMS station locations, unit ID's, etc.). Thanks in advance and keep up the good work.

Thornboard-

I was listening to Hardin County this evening. Rineyville as dispatched to send a tanker to a Central Hardin grass/woods fire.

When Rineyville was cancelled, they said something like "Switching back to Radcliff". Do they use the Radcliff channel for primary operations?

I was at Knox a week ago for some training and hope to be going back on the 10th of June. If I do I will try and set up my laptop and the scanner in the truck and run my scan log on a wildcard search, see what all pops up. What bites though is I am using a Rat Shack 106. Hoping to eventually get me a Uniden for better reception.

Hardin co

I was on CHFD 1076 that night we saw massive fire on wood line and had advised hardin co to dispatch rineyville fire for tanker. CHFD 1000 had advised to cancel rineyville and start radcliff fire then we canceled them which us why you heard them say switching back to radcliff freq.

Rineyville fire operates on Co fire freq. In the day time they are on automatic aid for vine grove on structure fires so you may here sometimes them switching to that freq.

Many thanks to Thornboard13 for the info. I know that Hardin Memorial has copters coming and going. I used to be able to listen to those when they would land over in Brandenburg and the RR database still has those. Are there any frequencies for air vac med copters in Hardin?

Hardin co air methods

Air methods KY 6 call sign is based out of Addington Field in Elizabethtown I have the air methods freq in my mobile radio but do not know what the freq is ill have to read my radio and check it. If you want to hear air methods flying any pt out of Hardin county listen to the Hardin co EMS channel they switch over to that channel anytime there landing at a scene and giving pt reports to the flight crew. Ill try to get that information as soon as possible

Thanks for the info. Good stuff. I hopefully will be starting at HCEMS part-time very soon, so it'll be good to have an idea of how the FD are setup.

This may be old news for local folks, but Radcliff Fire and Vine Grove Fire are going to new frequencies. Main dispatch is going to be 156.1275 with DPL023. Secondary is going to be 151.2425 PL 136.5, and third backup is 159.4050 with DPL025. There is still quite a bit of QRM on the main county fire call out, but am not sure if they are going to ever PL that or not.

I believe that the new frequencies are live, but not in operation officially. I have received a few hits on them, but I have not heard an official page out yet on the .1275 frequency. My contact said that RFD chief would advise when they officially switch frequencies.

Hardin county

Radcliff fire has officially switched to the new the new frequencies and are being dispatched of the 156.1275
That will be there primary channel. The 156.1275 and 159.4050 is at a new location located at 313 and 31W and has a lot better reception around the county. The second channel is still located at Radcliff fire station one. Hardin county is looking at switching from 154.430 to a different channel due to so many agencies within 50 miles using causing so much bleed over. Elizabethtown fire is also looking at changing frequencies also but nothig is official yet.

Ok, Thanks Thomboard13 for the info. I hope the county looks to change off 154.430 due to the bleed over from southern Indiana. Awful sometimes.
