Glad to hear you finally got it back and it is working properly.

I shipped my radio on October 25, Uniden received it October 30, and it was checked into repair on Nov 2. It still has a status of in repair with the notes:

"UNIT RECEIVED"

The only update has been the expected ship date was changed from Nov.28 to Nov.30 (tomorrow). Based upon your report I highly doubt that it will ship tomorrow, unless it has already been repaired,tested but they didn't update the status.

28 "Business days" (which actually means you were without the scanner for about a month and a half) is really poor service IMHO.

If they got 30th and it ships tomorrow that will be 23 business days they had it. It says 14 to 20 buisness days is the expected turnaround time. 3 days over the expected turnaround time is not to shabby especially if they have alot of repairs. Don't ever go by the expected turn around time from any company you will be more than likely disappointed.

The status of my radio has been updated to "In line to be shipped"! Parts used Cold Solder Joint. What a relief
