Old analog desk scanner died after 25 years. Just got a BCD325P2, programmed for my county. All good until I pushed a few buttons. Now I'm stuck on CUSTOM 10, noisy, and nothing I push is getting it back to scan. The manual print is too small to read anything!

hit the scan button,
also you might check the squelch setting,
hit the orange function button and then the knob on the top, that will show the squelch setting and 2 is good.

Tried what WTP suggested. Now I'm scanning, but not all channels - at least not all the channels it started with.
I've put in a request via chat with Uniden. They are offline for the night, but will answer in the morning.

Look at this page:

Did you pay the dealer to program it for you?

Do you have software? FreeSCAN will work for that scanner, and as the name implies, it is free.
Download the 2.19 beta 1 version from here:
Install the software on your PC. Once you've done that, connect the scanner to your PC using the cable that came with the scanner.
Download your programming to your PC.

This will let you save a copy of what was programmed.

Again on the drop-down Scanner menu, select "Setup Scanner Options

That will let you access the Custom Search options, where you can lock out the Custom 10.

There is a User Guide for FreeSCAN in the Wiki.
FreeScan User Guide - The RadioReference Wiki

Look at the download programming from the scanner (from the Download Programming illustrated above)

There, you can see what was programmed, and what is, or is not, locked out.

sounds like it could be quick keys, and i don't do quick keys...
so now it is time for the quick key folks...
basically you hit number buttons to lock and unlock systems.
so try hitting number buttons to lock and unlock systems just remember what does what.

Thank you all for the great suggestions. I'll file this all away for my retirement, when I might have time to learn all about the programming!
In the meantime, I took a picture and short video of the screen I was seeing. Uniden/Bearcat folks saw right away that I had locked out a whole band and with a quick push of a button, I was back in business! Now, to never touch another button.....!

i suggest hitting the buttons one more time
Locking/Unlocking the Keypad
Hold on any channel. Press Func then

to lock or unlock the keypad. The only keys/knobs that work are Func, Hold, and the scroll control for volume.
