When gigaparts had a store in Las Vegas, they used to do a scanner programming for $100. I think that they still do it, but they don’t have a store here anymore. I don’t understand why you don’t just download the freescan program and you can purchase a premium subscription on this website for just one month to have it downloaded the data to your scanner and then you’ll be all set. When I first moved to Las Vegas, I was clueless like you and a giga parts to program the scanner for $100. But then I realized that all they were doing is downloading a free program and checking a few boxes and the program automatically programmed the scanner. I figured very easily do it myself.thank you for responding do you have the BCD996P2 scanner. I need someone who will meet with me to show me how to program and input the data from the radioreference data as a premier subscriber. Im new and need help. Im in the north end down by rancho and washington ave. Please let me know. thank you so much
