thank you for responding do you have the BCD996P2 scanner. I need someone who will meet with me to show me how to program and input the data from the radioreference data as a premier subscriber. Im new and need help. Im in the north end down by rancho and washington ave. Please let me know. thank you so much
When gigaparts had a store in Las Vegas, they used to do a scanner programming for $100. I think that they still do it, but they don’t have a store here anymore. I don’t understand why you don’t just download the freescan program and you can purchase a premium subscription on this website for just one month to have it downloaded the data to your scanner and then you’ll be all set. When I first moved to Las Vegas, I was clueless like you and a giga parts to program the scanner for $100. But then I realized that all they were doing is downloading a free program and checking a few boxes and the program automatically programmed the scanner. I figured very easily do it myself.

The OP has a premium subscription and has ProScan. Seems like he's looking for some local help to show him how to use it in person from someone that has the same scanner.

Well, I’d be willing to have a phone call with him, or give him a few minutes over a remote desktop session to get him started. I’d even be willing to export my config off my scanner and give to him. But just programming the scanner for him, he isn’t going to learn anything. I don’t mind helping him get started on his way to programming the scanner himself though, by giving him somewhere to start.

Hundred bucks to program a scanner. I could literally quit my day job.
