Help programming..R/S Pro-197

I finally found the program cables. No body carries them anymore. Also the Pro 197 went up to $397. The GPR's are $425.

I posted a link in the Radio Shack forum for a cable I found on Ebay that will work with your scanner.
I bid on 2 cables and got of of them. So I have a spare..

Great, I also did the same thing today.
It seems all of my cables don't work with Windows 8.
So I got me 2 today.

I have been working on the scanner and think it is ready for "live feed". Do I run cable from speaker out to audio in? I have down loaded the "scanner cast" software. Is there any special commands to start the broadcast and does Ronnie need to be advised?
Ronnie jump in here..... I think we are ready.... Now looking for another 197 for mobile app.
We will be broad casting North Augusta SC PD.

Well I'm not into jet engines, but if there is something to listen to on the scanner about them Yes.

The are a few calls when we forget to call the dispatch and advise them we are starting to crank up the jet vehicles..... They WILL dispatch fire trucks when by passers call in that a jet has crashed and is exploding.
