Hello all!
I have been running ACARSD for about a week and its very interesting. But i wanted something more, like a database, and i found a program that looks really good, but i dont get it to work.

The program is called Acars Analyser. There is another program needed between ACARSD and Acars Analyser called Acars Data Manager.

I get the logs up in the Acars Data Manager but i dont get them in Acars Analyser.

I guess its some settings i need help with to get it right.

I hope someone else out here run same as i so i get some expert help to get it to work!

/ Henrik

I use them both (sometimes) Go back into the ACARSD folder and click the set up.and look at the DDE options. The boxes next to SkySpy and run in AIRNAV should be checked. Then click write .ini, close set-up.Make sure that ACARS ANALYSER DDE is set up for ACARSD.
I found that ACARSD provides me with plenty of information and database so I has stopped using ACARS ANALYSER.
If you have any more questions with ACARSD let me know.
I am pretty good at ACARSD.

Many thanks for your reply!
I got it to work by myself but now i got other problems...
I have burned 3 soundcards in just 2 months, is there something i can do to protect it?
Like some kind of fuse or something.

I have never heard of that happening. It maybe a isolation problem or possibly the cable to your soundcard could be shorting.

I would check my volume settings. Try no more than 30 when receiving data. I have heard of people burning out their soundcard when they keep their volume setting to high. Too low of a volume setting is better than too high. Try to keep it in the 20-30 range when receiving data and less than 10 when the squelch is open(static).

Thanks for all the help!

I have the volume at 12 now and it work perfect, i get around 1000 messages a day, around 50 positions and only 1 or 2 CRC per day.

I saw i dont need the Log Analyser, i can create a daily report in ACARSD 1.65.
So i created a row i wanted it to be like and it looks like this:
ReportOneLine #TIME# #FLIGHT# #AIRLINE# #REG:8# #MSGS:3# #STYPE:6# #SHORT#

BUT it doesn´t come out like that in the daily report...

I still get the * for new reg, no airline name, not how many messages from each reg and not the aircraft type.

So i deleted the Default row as i thought it still followed that, but no luck.

And i changed so it sort by D so i get it in time, and yes i have reloaded acarsini in the program..

Anyone know what can be wrong?
