Help with picking up scanner feed?

If I am in Philly and have a Uniden TrunkTrackerIV scanner, is there any way I can program it to pick up the Philly central division scanner feed? Thanks!

Welcome to the RR forums. Which model TrunkTracker IV? BC296D / BC796D, BCD396T / BCD996T, BCD396XT / BCD996XT or HomePatrol-1?
These models can pick the system up but you'll likely suffer simulcast distortion if you're within range of two or more towers on the cell. Police (and fire) are carried on the Zone 2 Simulcast

Keep in mind that the central band was the 6th and 9th Districts, there is no more 6th district, they were combined into the 9th District which now covers what the 6th District covered before.

You might also want to put the talk groups in for Citywide emergency, known as J BAND and Citywide administrative also known as M BAND. You will also want to put the talk groups in for events 1 and 2.

All District dispatch and the above talk groups are in the clear for now. The apx 6000's they use have been reprogrammed with new talk groups that encrypt the above talk groups but for now the old talk groups that are unencrypted remain in the radios also.

There is no timeline for when the changeover could occur but an educated guess would be before the election. Enjoy it while you can.
