1: Have you installed Sentinel? (And .NET Framework 3.0/3.5 (includes 2.0) via Windows Features?)

2: Have you updated the master database & firmware (assuming #1)?

If so, in the master database, check USA > Florida > Pinellas > Statewide. Might be some others under Nationwide and county systems....

You've got some good advice here, one thing you might want to try before learning how to program your radio yourself so you can customize it and make it the way you want it, not someone else.

Regardless of the vendor who expertly programmed your radio there have been complaints that even though the radio was programmed a very basic step of enabling all service types was not performed..

For some reason, out of the box from Uniden all service types are not enabled, just some of the major ones. Activate all your service types in the menu, it's very easy, later on you can reduce the number of service types to meet your specific desires.

All the advice above, I couldn't recommend more! One of the worst things one can do is rely on preprogramming by a dealer, as what's programmed can very quickly become outdated, plus you're out 20 bucks for essentially nothing!

And just to add the above easy Sentinel manual, here's the corresponding manual from the same source, for your SDS100:

My fault, I should have mentioned I do not have windows, Mac user
Unfortunately, all of the current software available for scanners, at present, is for Windows machines. To install & use Sentinel, or ProScan, or ARC536, you'd need to run Windows on your Mac. There are ways to do this, some more straightforward than others. Look at this thread, and this page from ScannerMaster for starters. You can post in that first thread I linked (it's still open), which would be more useful than starting a new thread.

Frankly, though, by the time you get Parallels, Boot Camp, or other software, plus a copy of Windows, to be able to run Windows on your Mac, you can get a relatively inexpensive desktop or laptop & just use it for programming. These programs don't require a lot of speed or memory, so you can likely get one, either online, say Ebay or perhaps at a pawn shop, very affordably. It needs to be able to run Windows 7 or later, but you don't need a super fast processor, nor a lot of Ram memory. It just needs to be able to connect to the internet, to download the software, as well as database updates You're a premium subscriber, so ProScan or ARC536 (I prefer ProScan) can import exactly what you want from the RadioReference database, then load it to your scanner.

It is much the same for me, here - I use an Android tablet most of the time, but for a few certain tasks that require Windows (ie: updating my Uniden scanners}, I use a Japanese Panasonic Toughpad tablet, that, thanks to a small familiarity with Japanese, I was able to change it over to English and update it, which took 8 hours..... mostly updating. Cost, about $130, on eBay. Works excellent.
