help with unitrunker lol

Alright I need help like everyone else does. I have everthing set to what the unitrunker about says too and when i power everything on control channel it says at top no signal. This is even after i refresh the screen. I am using a mono cable out of the headphone jack of a pro-2096 into the mic jack on my toshiba laptop. I can here the control channel coming out of my speakers on laptop so i know its getting something but still not working right. HELP HELP HELP lol

You will need a discriminator tap for the proper signal input to UniTrunker:

Then use the UniScope to look at the signal.

O man well the program says that you don't need any of that unless you look at the links your gave me. Dang this sucks. Its never easy lolol. Thanks for the input.
