Holbrook PD

Reception of Holbrook PD is horrible. More static and crackling than voice. All other towns and venues are clear. This happens in all four directions from the PD all year round. Anyone experience the same?

I receive them OK from Rockland on 471.5125 (156.7) I believe that they use the big tower located by the Holbrook, Abington, Brockton line.
Do you receive the FD OK? 453.1500(203.5)
You might need a better antenna

Where are you located? Using a stock antenna? Scanner type? etc....

Many variables to this, obviously, so the more info you can provide the better people here can help/advise.

I'm in Randolph, will try out Holbrook in the next few days and see what happens. Will report back by tuesday.

If you're not listening to the frequency with a PL tone then you might be getting the Peabody PD, since they both operate on the same freq but with different PL tones.
