Assuming that someone with the original run of the scanner (small battery) didn't complete their registration properly yet, how exactly would you guys know to even ship the larger battery out to them at this point?

If they have registered w/a valid email address, we sent several emails advising the process (if they had not already completed the process). In a week or so (after the initial demand volume drops) we'll repeat that email.

Some people intentionally or inadvertently use invalid email addresses. We cannot contact them (for reasons which I hope are self-evident).

I cannot check the status of batteries when I don't know your email or my.uniden.com user name.

If it is like other shipments to Canada, these are batched into a master shipment that is split out after export. Note that I don't do the actual shipping or logistics and don't have that information immediately available to me.

Batteries to Canada will go out on Friday via our consolidated shipping method (FedEx Ground).

Looks like you never completed registration. You must enter your scanner's ESN and checksum (part typo avoidance, part fraud avoidance) in order for us to fulfill on the larger battery.

I have added my scanner with the serial number not sure how to enter the ESN and checksum, i don't see anything for those. Do i have to re-enter the scanner?

Wow just saw this statement about ESN and checksum. Never added this part in my registration so now it is added and maybe I will get my new bigger battery.

Bigger Battery

I also just saw the message about the checksum #. I wonder how many others missed that?
I just added the checksum # to my info, so now I am waiting patiently again.
The checksum is the 3 digits following the serial #, correct?

And I wonder how many of those who have complained so vehemently about not getting their batteries will realize it's their own fault.

Same here. I just added the ESN and checksum. Frankly, this pisses me off.

I wondered why I never was contacted...
