Oddly enough I have never been contacted by uniden. Only by the bot of the website when updating.
I suppose eventually I will get a new battery. Or not.

And the man that is making most of this happen has been dealing with life and death medical problems for almost all year just in case you did not know either. By the way where did you find out about the SDS100 I bet it was this site also you just do not fill out information like that with just the bare minimum you have to take some of the blame. Also 2 1/2 to 3 hours is not going to change anything with the storm thing. I have a battery supply to run my handheld scanner for a week 24/7 that is planning on my part.

That is nice. What does that have to do with customer service exactly?

One either fulfills promises or one does not. I have yet to hear from uniden. I am not impressed.
I swear, fanboys on this site are ridiculous. The radio was expensive...almost criminally so. But that does not matter, because life issues!

I have 2 dead daughters...they grew cold in my hands, so I am acquainted with loss and personal devastation.

Personally speaking, I would find a horrible prognosis for my personal health much better than losing my daughters.
And I went to work and did my job in the midst of my loss too. There is no excuse for uniden being so slipshod.

Uniden fails HARD. Fanboys excusing their asinine performance fail harder.

I finally got my battery/door replacement. Needless to say its hard to shut the door even pressed down. I wonder why they got 2 foam pads instead 1 like the small door/battery?
