How to edit and old posting

Hi; I'd like to be able to edit the following posting, which migrated over from the old board (I need to remove Gary's name from the listing):

It seems I can't - I can only edit postings I make now, evidently not those in the past?

Editing a post has been removed due to it being abused. You can now edit a post for up to 24 hours. Anything beyond that you will need to make a reply.

No can do. Long discussion about editing has been ongoing in another thread. You can edit up to 24 hours (I believe) thats it. Too much abuse of the editing feature occurred and thats the compromise.
