Got the HP-2 message stating card was had reached max number of recordings. Hooked the card up to my card reader, used move command to copy all the recordings to my computer [mostly marine comms] and reinserted card. 20 min later HP-2 error message "card full" comes on the screen. Only 2 recordings for about 40 min in on the card. Erase one of them get another 20 min or so and same message pops up. Anybody ever seen this before? Any solutions? TY for the help.

Reformat or replace the SD card.

The audio recordings are contained in several folders under the root folder for audio files.
Your move command may have only moved a few of many files.

@fxdscon 's suggestion should fix the problem though. It it comes back quckly, then replace the card for sure.

I got that today on the 536 after moving files from the SD card to my PC and at the same time where doing other stuff on the PC and while 4-5 apps where running and the computer frooze. After restarting and moving the two last recording folders that where still on the SD card it looked to be fine with 3,6GB free on a 4GB SD card. After a short while scanner reported card almost full. When checked it was still 3,6GB free and no files in the recording folder.

I formatted using SD Formatter and then initialized it from Sentinel and copied the setup and it worked normal again. It probably was something like that the folder where set to read-only or similar that made it impossible to write to that user recording folder.
