I need some help with my Home Patrol 1 Scanner. It is not picking up Washington County Sheriff and Im not sure if Im doing something wrong or not.

Looks like they could have or could be moving over the the newer MARCS:IP system.

ensure you have that system/TGID in a favorite list and you should be fine.

How did you set up the scanner? Did you enter a zip code or create favorite list in Sentinel?

First check the database version on the scanner.
1. Menu/Advance Menu/next screen (bottom right hand corner of the screen)/Version Information

What is the database version date?

Version 2.05 And I put in my zip code. It does not even pick up my local MARCS system. But my other base does

Database Version is 08/03/2014

That's the Firmware Version, right below that is the Database Version the latest right now is 08/31/2014

you need to update to the latest database version and update the scanner with Sentinel on a computer.

Ok so first I plug scanner into USB and go to sentinel and update latest database correct

Ok I went to Sentinel I clicked on Update Master HPDB and then I went to Update Firmware. Nothing showed up in the box when I went to update Firmware tho.
