Noticed end of last week HRM doing pager tests with Elmsdale and Lantz.

Over the weekend both where added to the evening pager test. This morning both dispatched to a MVC by HRM. Unclear if there's been a dispatching change, or being dispatched by both Valley and HRM.

Over the last week there has been an increase of radio traffic between HRM dispatch and units from Lantz and Elmsdale on HFX-IES 3, NS OPS 39 and 40. Most likely being paged on the Dutch Settlement site, 154.280. Perhaps someone from the area could confirm that.

Does anyone know the frequency for ops 39 and 40, I looked on the data base but could not see them.
They are on TMR, located here: Maritime Public Safety Radio Network (MPSRN) Trunking System, Provincewide, Multi-State

I'm here a lot
Are you using DSD+ for frequencies, or a scanner?

If DSD+, use your frequencies from closest tower, otherwise download the trunk system to your scanner.

Yeah HRM is definitely dispatching Elmsdale and Lantz now.
I did note one interesting thing... The old East Hants repeater on 154.46, which has been simulcasting the North Dispatch-A talkgroup since East Hants moved from VHF to TMR a number of years back, was suddenly simulcasting the IES 3 talkgroup for a bit. But, it hasn't done so in maybe a month or so now, it's just back to N-Disp-A.
Also interesting, in addition to having separate sets of tones for both Elmsdale and Lantz departments, there is a third set of tones that is for both stations. Not sure why they felt that was needed...
