I'm not going to submit any data to the DB as the system is just launching and it's weird what they are doing. I don't know Harris systems well enough.
The most notable difference between Harris & Motorola systems are that Harris systems can, and do, use any of the site frequencies as control channels, rotating them, in some cases, as often as once an hour,

Hunt County Sheriff P25's Control Channels vanished over the holiday. I got to digging around in the FCC data and notices some of the FCC Emissions strongly resemble those of AEP such as this one: 19K0D1W.

Since Hunt County suckered L3 into paying for half the system, I wonder if L3 sprung for these new TDMA radios? I guess time will tell.

I noticed there is no longer a live feed on broadcastify 😢
I just saw that. That broadcaster has been streaming Hunt for years. I bet he's pissed!

Hunt County Fire is still operating on VHF with AMR Dispatching. I wonder if Fire is waiting on AMR before transitioning to the Trunk? Well the glimmer of hope lies in how well an SDR will decode a TDMA control channel. I'm not savvy with this SDR Tech.

If scanning the frequencies, do you get a frequency that sounds like white noise (or static)? If so, that's likely a TDMA control channel.

My mobile rig can (and does) decode TDMA control channels - I'll try and get out there over the New Year's weekend and see what I can find.

Is that a new emission designator?
New for Hunt yes. New in general, I don't think so. If you look at the emission codes for AEP which also uses TDMA control channels they are almost the same.

jones - I have not scanned them in conventional yet, I will shortly. There is no CC detection on the SDS100 12 miles north of Commerce and 6 miles north of Celeste at the same time there is NO Law Enforcement on their older VHF channels. Fire and AMR are still operating on 154.0925 DCS 143.

Understood. The SDS100 doesn't decode TDMA control channels at all (supposedly the new SDS150 does, but I don't have one yet). I travel through AEP territory on a regular basis and use my SDS100 to "hear" the control channel (I use band search which allows me to find undocumented systems), which I then plug into the mobile rig to start decoding. That's the same way I found the TDMA control channel on DART's system at DFW airport.

Sitting in Greenville as I type this and did a reset on previously collected frequency data, so I had a clean report.

Both sites are coming in on the frequencies in RRDB, the control channels are still FDMA, so a TDMA switch has not happened.

South County is currently using 769.79375 for a control channel, and Northwest County is on 771.51875.

Other than the license info for Northwest County, I don't see anything that needs to be updated in RRDB.

Just an FYI for those who listen to Hunt County, all Sheriffs dispatch (including the smaller cities, Fire Marshal, Constables and ISD police) are operating on the P25II system, Caddo Mills and Wolfe City PD are using their talk around channel every once in a while. And as of Monday, February 23rd, Hunt County Volunteer Fire Departments and AMR Hunt County have slowly begun using the P25II system.
