But you specifically said "...but when I went to remap my 721 head..."Which does not show up when the radio type is set to XG-100M/CH100 control head. Try it.

Right. Changing the radio type show and hides certain options menus. You can’t do assign any of the radio keypad options on CH100. It’s either there in the menu structure or it’s not.Yes it shows up when set to the CH-721 head. I knew it was there somewhere, thanks for pointing that out.
However it doesn't help with a CH-100 head. Some day maybe I'll have one.
I think the cheapest per unit price I’ve seen was 5 for $100 on EBay.I haven't taken a control head apart. I wonder if the display window can be removed? Mine is roached. I would like to get a cheap system head and steal the display from it for mine.
is it using VAC extension files for Virtual Audio Cable applications? So back to essential Cult Knowledge: What format is used for audio files in RPM2 "Voice Annunciation"? Any tips about setting them up for the buttons of a CH721 System control head?
Thanks!

That's good information. Interesting that the mic is a USB-C. Sounds like there's no digging around under the seats or in the trunk to find wherever the installer put the unit when they come in for programming. That part I like! The XL-200 mobile is a very nice unit and improves greatly on the XG-100/CH100 setup but still has some simple gripes. It is much more responsive (especially under the later firmwares), easy to read display, buttons are friendly to use with a load of functions to each one. The biggest gripe I have on it which doesn't seem to be of concern for TAC is you can press the selector down to display the functions of each button on the display, but when you power off/on the radio, it doesn't stick and you have to retoggle it every time. The mic is a USB-C connection and programming is via a USB-C or WiFi.
Ya, the XL-ESM on the XL200P is USB-C too and the Wi-Fi programming is rock solid and very fast! Just pull a few cruisers into the air conditioned bay, and program them all at once wirelessly! That's good information. Interesting that the mic is a USB-C. The initial programming is what gets ya. I have the OTAP after that, but I did an upgrade some time back and haven't been able to use it since. I need to get that fixed, but I guess I'm just being lazy about it.Ya, the XL-ESM on the XL200P is USB-C too and the Wi-Fi programming is rock solid and very fast! Ya, for initial programming of a quantity, it’s easier to just make a temporary network that matches the default settings already loaded. Then you can Wi-Fi them, put in a plan with your own defaults and kill the temp network! The initial programming is what gets ya. Smart! Might have to try that on the next bulk purchase.Ya, for initial programming of a quantity, it’s easier to just make a temporary network that matches the default settings already loaded. Then you can Wi-Fi them, put in a plan with your own defaults and kill the temp network!

Compared to a 185/200, it feels solid, heavy, bulked up...and I'm sure that's because the housing plastic is MUCH thicker. That's most likely how it survives the torture test Harris claims in the flyer.
