Start from the beginning.

What scanner? What is the cord plugged into on the scanner? What is it plugged into on the computer? What do you have set in Scannercast?

Its A RadioShack Pro 96 Digital Trunking. Its Plugged Into The HeadSet Jack. Microphone Jack In Back of Computer. Audio Only For Scanner Model, Sound Input Is Microphone- Realtek High Def.

Is This Right?

Check computer side

It sounds like you have it hooked up right . I suggest check mute on the mic in sound properties also you can try to plug the scanner into the line in on the computer. I ran into the same thing scancast uses either mic or liner in. on my laptop it's mic oon my desktop it's line in.

Hope that helps

Keep in mind that the feed is delayed. Mine is like 40 seconds till i hear anything from the scanner. If you want to get a test tone to check, just turn the squelch down for a couple of seconds then back up. you don't want to wait till you get a report, before you turn it back up, otherwise you will get about 40 sec of static (annoying). Also, Your transition between mono (scanner) and stereo (computer) needs the correct splitter. Or it's like it's not even plugged in.
