I have an ICOM F521 VHF Mobile. I recently added a few channels, but otherwise left all the other settings on the radio the same as before. When I put the radio into scan mode, it keeps stopping on random channels as if it's receiving a signal (when there's obviously not). I have the squelch turned all the way over; and it's all channels, not just ones with PL/DPLs. I double checked the scan speed settings, etc.
Thoughts on what might be wrong? Is my radio shot?
