Icom: ICOM IC-V8

Can one program an ICOM IC-V8 with channels in a way that you don't transmit on said channel. For example can I program RR frequencies in this radio in such a way that I do not transmit on the channels...

Unless someone has "modified" the radio, it should not allow transmit outside the 144-148MHz band.

You can program a receive only into the V8. In the Edit Memory screen it has TX inhibit box, check that box
