In the last 2 days, I have received emails from 2 different Icom vendors stating that there will be substantial price increases on Icom equipment taking effect this coming Monday, 09-15-2025. I'm passing the information along for anyone who may want to purchase before the announced price increases take effect.
I received the following email from Giga Parts (gigaparts.com) dated 09-11-2025:
"Don't wait, prices are going up
On September 15th, prices for many popular Icom products will increase by up to 15%. Yaesu has also indicated that tariffs will result in price increases across their product line by similar amounts. Don't wait until Black Friday, as these prices may be the best we see this year."
I received the following email from Main Trading Company (mtcradio.com) dated 09-12-2025:
"Just a friendly heads up, Major Price changes are coming Monday September 15. One major manufacturer (Not Yaesu or Kenwood) has announced major increases Monday. If you are waiting for year end to make a purchase you will pay more. We do not have the final numbers but I can tell you this is going to be big. If you are thinking about a new radio now is the time. Don't delay. We have 7760's in stock now. Keep in mind that we will change our Icom pricing Sunday night on the site once we have final details."
"I just wanted to give you a heads up. We will be doing holiday sales but I seriously doubt that you can buy many models any cheaper at year end than you can buy them this weekend."
