I don't even understand those measurements. 🤷🏾♂️The one thing that caught my eye in the Sensitivity specs were measurements of 0 dBu or less. You don't often see that on receivers of this class.
it's there now.FWIW - The R15 Basic Manual, The R15 Advanced Manual, and the R15 CI-V Reference Guide are now available on the Japanese ICOM website. I downloaded the English Versions but there are other language versions as well. The manuals look very similar to the R30 manuals but obviously, the R30 parts have been removed.
The Basic and Advanced Manuals are available on the ICOM US site but the CI-V is not there.
To be clear it seems like -8 dBμ convert to near 0.4 µV. I remember the Icom R30 tested near 0.11 µV in VHF sensitivity in what I'd listen to. Be interesting to see how real life performance would be.I don't even understand those measurements. 🤷🏾♂️

Am waiting on HRO reply to my email to see how big the list is for pre orders. If it’s low, I’ll go for it. Palmerjrus, did you get the new uniden scanner?

HRO’s site has not been updated in a while. It states that the IC-R15 has not been certified by the FCC.
