How control Towers would you recommend the plug into your scanner in my area I'm still kind of picking bits and pieces up a conversations

The more towers you program in, the more likely it will be that you will hear all of the radio traffic. If I were in your situation, I would program towers 306, 307, 352, and 356. Your radio will scan the frequencies from each tower. If the radio picks up a transmission, it will stop and you will hear it, according to whatever TGID's you have programmed in your radio. I am not familiar with the type of radio you are using. I use Uniden. On the Uniden, you can toggle your scanning to "ID search" or "ID scan". In "ID scan" mode, you only hear the talkgroups you have programmed in. In "ID search", you can hear all of the traffic on the system (tower) you are listening to. Maybe someone here knows how to toggle that feature on your radio. This is why you are picking up Ameren and traffic from other ISP districts.

Delete the wildcard. That's why you're picking up unwanted traffic. Or lock out the talkgroup when you see a transmission. That's what I do when some Ameren traffic comes up due to the wildcard I have set. I only set a wildcard because there's a lot of patches around here. ISP D14 is patched into a tower near me, D1, D8, D6, D17 dispatch TGs are also patched.

I figured something out do a scan of public service on digital scanner. You will see it stop on a frequency if it is a control channel it will sound like a low hum. My scanner the pro 197 shows the signal strength.

I found the strongest signal added that only one to the list of frequency list. Worked like a charm picked up a lot of transmission never got before.

I know this is kind of off topic but is there a way to go back and listen to old ISPREN broadcast. Maybe a website?
