If you have the serial cable that came with it, CompUSA has a USB adapter for ten bucks.

I got it from a friend and he lost the Cd and the cable when he moved down here to florida from up north...

usually windows will have the drivers for the cable if not you might be able to search the web for the drivers

In addition many USB cords - some off the shelf - will 'fit' with the 396T. The cable that comes with the radio is a RS232 type - the USB/Serial cable goes between that and the PC.
