Still 264 here (NJ site). Peer sites are all 264 also. I very much doubt that the NetID for the entire system has changed, and I have no explanation for what is being observed by the other poster.

Fire up DSDPlus, Park on the control channel, and when it starts to populate with data press “d” in DSD plus to disregard the data and it will then populate again
I've done this numerous times since I've discovered it and have come up with the same result. When conditions are right, my 536HP would also confirm system & site ID I reported with 1 bar (of course it won't cooperate now when I want it to). I'm over 100 miles away from the supposed TX site so error rates in DSD+ are in the 20s and 30s so if we can get someone closer to "Skook" county to confirm or negate my findings, we'll be in good shape. Perhaps it's a meer coincidence the LCN on the control channel matches that on the research spreadsheet?

And while we're confirming Network ID on known sites, Site 26 still shows ID 264 when tuned to 461.3875. I'm about 50 miles give or take from that site

264 already has a Site 17, so we can rule out this new site being part of the 264 network. NEXEDGE RAN matches the Site ID up to Site 63, so 17 = 17 seems legit.

Caught some voice traffic on two different TGs which is how I picked up the remaining LCNs. Being it's Sunday, it's been quiet the rest of the day...

Site 18 shows a neighbor of site 1 with control channel 699, which should be 463.725. T & K Electronics is licensed for 463.725 at Owego under WNDS871 but I did not notice this freq on the air at Owego.

I did see Sayre 451.750 from Owego and it had voice traffic on channels 106 and 960. It's neighbor list was 4 5 18 24 25.
Site 24 cc was 495 (461.175), perhaps WPMT607 at Tannersville PA.
Site 25 cc was 557 (461.950), perhaps WPMT607 at Huntingdon PA.

Regarding L448, I heard L448 site 4 from Burdett NY on 461.050 control channel 485. Neighbor site 2 with control channel 516 (461.4375).

Perhaps it's a meer coincidence the LCN on the control channel matches that on the research spreadsheet?
No coincidence, just the same channel numbering plan being used on both systems.
535 is likely 461.675
709 is likely 463.850
730 is likely 464.1125
These freqs all are on the WRKA697 Conway license at Wayne Township in Schuylkill County...

More Likely Roaring Branch

From my notes:

Ran:24

Site FCC License(s) WQVR854

Site Frequency Table

CH ID Frequency

495 461.175
535 461.675 *
561 462.000 *
677 463.450 *
731 464.125

I was unable to determine a CC. The three with asterisks are Voice Channels. An RR member assisted me with the LCN's. I have this programmed into my TRX-1 with the RAN 24 and receive it whenever in the Roaring Branch vicinity.

Is someone going to get sites 24 and 25 (and 1 and 26) added to the database?

26 is known to be
Allentown/Lehigh PA WNCA488

Is someone going to add SYS 448? :geek:

I was going to mention this. We had a lengthy discussion about this a few posts ago. I think it may be a stand alone sight as I usually get just a couple of TG's coupled with their own RID's. When it first became active they were going on about a "Pigging" operation. It's still going strong, however.

There's also a site 13 (RAN 13) which is in my portable but haven't done much research on it.

And when analyzing these sites, It doesn't hurt to check for LTR activity. For instance, the renewed Canton, Pa. Site

seems to have a faint LTR Data Burst on HR:01 461.725. I expected it to expire as I haven't heard anything since they went digital. Now that they have renewed it I may study it a bit further.

Took another look at the Canton site from Mt. Pisgah. Still getting HR:01 461.725 and HR:04 463.2375, but no audio. On the NXDN side I got a RAN 15 on 464.35. There is already a site 15 in the DB which is Uniondale in Susquehanna County. An FCC search produced this:

I programmed these in as conventional with RAN= any and got two more:

463.475 RAN 15
464.600 RAN 15

The license provided for the 452.1625c doesn't appear to have any voice frequencies on it. So I guess is that this is a supplement to WNGT997

I additionally got a RAN 25 on 461.525 however, that is also on Site 25 Little Marsh/Tioga PA.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but you didn't copy Sites 24/25 directly, gather the network/system Id from it did you? That's how things get added to the database. We can suspect a lot of things, but somebody needs to confirm by directly monitoring something... usually.

Has anyone actually confirmed that 264 and 448 are interconnected? Do we have evidence of such based on neighbor lists showing the two system ID's referencing each other?

I've seen nothing to suggest it. They may be, but I haven't seen any pudding let alone proof.

Maybe somebody should start a brand new thread about Network 448 Industrial Electronics.

And, probably should leave LTR data out of both threads.

This thread is a bit of a hot mess, that's for sure. I've mostly stopped paying attention to it. I figure if anything has anything worthwhile to contribute, it'll be submitted and I'll deal with it at that point.

These NEXEDGE systems can grow quite large (see the Mobiletech system for an example), and so there's really no reason for them to use two system IDs for a single system, especially where they're duplicating the site IDs.
