I have been listening to Irvington PD as of lately and I notice they use some codes that I can't seem to figure out unless the dispatchers give a description of the job. For example, they dispatched two units to a "swinging 5" and they had several calls on it. Prior to units arriving it was then changed to a "moving 5" Does anyone know of the coding system they use?

If memory serves...a "swinging 5" is a fight. You will hear a lot of them on a Sat night.
