I used to be a track photographer for Car Craft/Hot Rod and the very old Drag News...in the 1970's and early 80's

Went to Pomona, O.C.I.R. and Irwindale. Those were the days...[sigh]

Considering they were using 465.025 192.8(?) for pit announcements and broadcasting over a four county area, start with finding the Baofeng preset frequencies. If they are still using those radios, they will probably be using one of those.

How about the Raceceiver frequency 454.0? I see this being used at various short tracks broadcasting the PA.
