Maybe. I know the CPVE system is going away because they wanted something simpler. They still do have the KCH-20 style control head installed, so not sure the need to have it on the computer, also.
Is that of the older CPVE system, or the new system? It looks like the old CPVE screen layout. The screen hardware going in for this project looks different.
It would appear that the MDI-750 device has some interaction with the Pyramid SVR-P752 beyond just power, as I've recently learned that the vehicle itself has the ability to warn the officers over the extender channel of a low-battery condition in the vehicle. In a female voice, it can state "xxxx low battery" with the xxxx being the four digit vehicle number. The voice sounds like a text-to-speech thing.
Kenwood/EFJohnson/Pyramid did a presentation at one of the NAPCO meetings. The MDI-750 interfaces to all 4 RF decks plus the computer. They didn't go into many details on that, but I got the feeling that there were a lot of possibilities for this setup.
