Is Whistler Still in the Scanner Business ?

All of this domain and DNS analysis is meaningless. They use Shopify and at this moment Whistler is dead onine. Will they return? Who knows…a fact of life, never waste time looking for a business that obviously has no intention of supporting or at least keeping in touch with their customers.

So, look elsewhere if you want products like they sold and consider them dead unless there is a miracle resurrection. Ask yourself the question even if they returned in some form, why would anyone risk a $$ with them.


My suggestion ,let them rest in peace. Enjoy their obsolete products if you own one and wish their employees luck.

The Domain Name may be good until 2029 but if you do not pay the Hosting Company they close your site.
The site says if you are the owner and want to reopen the site contact SUPPORT.

Can anyone confirm if it's true that Whistler has gone out of Business?? Nat. Comm Magazine is posting that apparently done just that. This is huge news. Is Uniden now the lone Manufacturer??

It's a damn shame if they have. I love my TRX-2e and I was looking at getting the TRX-1e soon as a few places in the UK have them in stock again. I'll hold off for now though.

A post on Farcebook yesterday says that Whistler has ceased production, though nothing has been formally announced in a search I did. The search result said they'd ceased production.
Apparently for all intent and purposes Whistler scanners are now like Regency and Midland scanners a relic of the past golden age of scanning.
Personally, I think Uniden will not be far behind in ceasing scanner production as well.
