If anyone is familiar with the emergency services for Jacksonville, can someone explain to me what the difference is with the station alerting tones? When monitoring I will hear some incidents go out with a single steady tone and then the units and message. Other incidents I will hear an alternating hi-lo tone then the units and the message.

Ahh got it, thank you. For some reason I was thinking it was related to incidents in first-due box areas but this makes sense.
