Need help with my GRE scanner PSR 600.

i want to progrham the new trunk system i put everything in does not work.


control channels are in and the scanner asked if it is p 25 manual or p 25 automatic. what mode do i set it up for


can someone talk me though the steps

The simplest way is to program the TSYS as P25 Auto.

Make sure the talkgroups, or the talkgroup wildcard, are/is programmed and associated with that particular TSYS. Make sure you have selected a scan list for those talkgroups and that you're scanning it.

There are tons of other options for delay, backlight, beeps, etc., but above should be all the essentials you need to start scanning it.

Win500 is very highly recommended for the PSR-500 & -600, and their Radio Shack equivalents. It has a 30-day free trial; you'll need a programming cable but I believe it is included with the PSR-600 (it isn't with the Radio Shack versions).
