I'm thinking this may be Johnson Co Jail 33580 which is active today. Not sure how large their facilities are but they mentioned building 1 and 7 and an inmate going from one to another.

Greenwood FD is doing training right now on talkgroup 48304. They're on SCBA and they sound pretty good. This is still one of the unidentified ones. I'm guessing it's a new fireground.

More of what sounds like training this morning on 48304 and 48320. I think 48304 is 41GFD-OP91 (digital) and 48320 is 41GFD-OP92 (digital).

For the last two days, the Greenwood site has gone into site trunking for a period of time, and now the control channel is on the alternate. Must be some problems with the T1. Sounds like there's wider network problems this morning too. Just heard ISP District 45 transmitting on point to point, obviously multiselected with their dispatch talkgroup, and the dispatcher kept unkeying after getting busy tones from their console.

Over the past few days Greenwood and WRT have been using there Digital tg's alot for testing, and there Admin tg's have been really active. I was told last week that Greenwood would be switching in December, but Bargersville will remain on Analog forever, or until funds are raised or donated. Bargersville is a hand off dispatch center, and all radios are funded by the dept only. No state or Federal funds at all.

Lots ot testing on the new Greenwood talkgroups last night and this morning. Currently an exercise going on 48304, which I think is the new 41GFD-OP91. SCBA in use, sounds pretty good.

Bargersville did get quite a few new radios, there's a bunch of new radio IDs in use on their talkgroups in the 754xxx range which started showing up last spring. So they have some digital capable radios. Probably don't have every single radio replaced yet, though.

They have alot of handheld radios, but there dispatch center is a cross band setup with no Digital capability. I'm not sure why they just wouldn't use a Handheld in dispatch so they can communicate with everyone else.

More importantly, why does that dispatch center even still exist? Handhelds aren't real conducive to dispatch center use on a 24/7/365¼ basis as I'm sure you know. Its been a while, but IIRC they have four Spectra consolettes in there connected to an old console. One consolette for the dispatch talkgroup, one per operations talkgroup, and one for the admin talkgroup. Everything being sent by the dispatcher on the dispatch talkgroup is also transmitted over the old VHF radio on 154.175 MHz simplex DPL 023. In addition to the dispatch radios, I think they also still have some older analog-only radios in their apparatus. So they're probably just a handful of radios away from being able to go digital. Of course that handful can cost a lot.

More GFD testing of the digital voice talkgroups yesterday and today. They are really putting the hardware through it's paces. I was able to confirm three new digital voice operations talkgroups.
