Is Johnston County going to switch their dispatch to automated? I am hearing some dispatch on Ops 25.
I have heard that they were beginning sometime in January. They are in the testing process right now.Is Johnston County going to switch their dispatch to automated? I am hearing some dispatch on Ops 25.
I hear EMS dispatch now being all automated but Fire Dispatch is not. Are both going to be or just EMS?Is Johnston County going to switch their dispatch to automated? I am hearing some dispatch on Ops 25.
I would say that fire probably will be eventually. I know they have been testing the automated dispatch on fire and ems channels for a few months now.I hear EMS dispatch now being all automated but Fire Dispatch is not. Are both going to be or just EMS?
Automated dispatching is faster than a human dispatching the same call. It simply leads to better call dispatching and response times for Fire/EMS.Crazy how everyone in North Carolina is switching to Automated, where I come from human voice is and most likely will be what will be used.
It.dont they still need dispatchers they talk ops channels it don't stop eneoute traffic. The dispatcher usually types and it then automated through they still check in on radio. Despite having aumtotion. Raleigh an wake Ben like that for ever now and they don't get rid dispatchers they still everything is human they usually have dispatcher channel check in or computer but it may be test mood so they may be trying out but automation is only thing aumtotion check in and ops.are.humanyes its different. The 🚑 must check en route and on scene with their computers because I don’t really hear that part much now.
I was in EMS and they still talk over atomated but it's to check in route and try get information from over radio but lot cad notes we use or over computer the knock system u cns hear both but on side. But digital and they use ops channels so they switch over during incident call or fire switches to fire chanel during EMS call either way both lot cites who have have dispatch and second dispatch when they check in or it goes straight to old and give information over old channelCrazy how everyone in North Carolina is switching to Automated, where I come from human voice is and most likely will be what will be used.
Don't take offense to this man. Please use basic grammar and punctuation. Doesn't have to be perfect but it does need to be better.I was in EMS and they still talk over atomated but it's to check in route and try get information from over radio but lot cad notes we use or over computer the knock system u cns hear both but on side. Sorryy.phone is lagging bad I was in EMS and even with automation. They still check in stuff on dispatch and tell the. Information age and what's going on. But lot sensitive stuff is on cad. And even that I heard EMS and then check in but they switch to ops are tacs. On calls in between and when I heard them on the tadioredrence site it was like squelch was down it wasnt pickin them up good so it seemed like connection issuien ill love see if they check they usually do stil that or they have two disoatche channels in some cities and one they alert one they check in and move information and turn to fire EMS tac or fire tac and sometimes. 911 will switch to that channel and give them the information on that channelDon't take offense to this man.
