Does any of or southern guys have a good list of Juab Co. (Nephi) to Delta area frequencies.
I have programmed in a few from the Db and Police call that are not here. I was just curious if anyone had a detailed list for that area along say Nephi through SR-50 to Delta?

Brandon, There are two UCAN sites that come in from Nephi to Delta: Levan Peak and Black Crook. Although no sheriff traffic is on those sites there is the occasional DWR C2C traffic and some Utah County stuff.

Sheriff, West Juab Ambulance and Fire (Eureka) all use the main channel & repeater: 154.800
East Juab Ambulance & Fire (Nephi, Mona, Levan & Rocky Ridge): 154.980
UHP Juab on Levan Peak (dispatched by Richfield): 151.220
Millard S.O.Ch 2 Main: 154.995
Millard S.O.Ch 4 West: 155.685 (Delta)
Millard S.O.Ch 5 North: 154.950 (Scipio)
UHP Frisco: 155.565 (covers extensive west desert area)
UHP Cricket: 151.235 (covers Millard best because it's in the county)

I have some fire freqs as well but unless it's major deal Millard uses the sheriffs channels above. I have a couple of friends in the Millard Co. Fire District.
When the Kuhni plant at Mills Junction (Levan)had a fire a couple of weeks back they switched fireground to State Fire (154.280) which I found interesting.

There isn't a lot to monitor down that way but when there is it's usually good. Also be aware that Millard will scramble their main channel(s) if something juicy happens and good word is they are switching to a digital low band system in the not too distant future. Maybe that explains the UHF freqs that are licensed to Millard and currently are patched in to the main channels.

Sorry to ramble but hope this helps.

Junior,
Thanks for the help. I would not mind those fire freq's if you would share. I found what you said to be true "There isn't a lot to monitor down that way", I had to keep checking my scanner to see if the batteries had died so ANY freq's would be cool and poss more of a chance to hear something. I delivered to that Khuni's place you spoke of and oh my hell what a NASTY smelling place that is. I could not imagine the smell when they had a fire there, it is bad enough raw.

I did stop in at the Radio Shack in Delta (Yes, they have a Radio Shack), and asked the clerk for a list of area freq's, here is what he gave me:

That looks like a typical Southern Utah scanning list!
During my trips to Green River, UT, I even had the Union Pacific
and the local school system plugged in just so I could hear something.

Nice list LGLHOOK. I did a little investigating, and it looks like someone searched out every FCC license in the county. That's a great way to search for traffic in a remote area, but my guess is that fewer than half those frequencies are actually used.

Yes Millard has plenty of channels but not a lot going on. I have friends in both Delta and Fillmore and yes I have been to the RadioShack in Delta (they ACTUALLY had the adaptaplug "T" I needed for my 2096 and it's been discontinued for awhile.) Brandon, when I looked at the fire radio of a friend of mine the only channel that's not listed in the RS list you posted was one they call "Tac 1." It's used between the forestry fire guys and the other fire departments in the county. I'm ass-u-ming that its a forestry channel (possibly 172.250) but not sure.
As far as the Kuhni plant goes it does have a rather rank smell. in the 90's I worked at Novell in Provo and they used to be located south of East Bay Business Park. Try getting a whiff of that at lunchtime when the south winds blow. Provo city actually helped relocate them down to where they are now. Just some FYI.
