Kern county BNSF/UP????

I have a list of frequencies for different railroads in the area but don't really have an understanding of what the channel is called does anybody have a list of Kern County Railroad BNSF/UP Channel names?

Railroads don’t usually name channels, instead referring to them by the Association of American Railroads channel number (for example, 160.215 is AAR 007).

They use what are called “all-channel radios” which allow the crew to enter the necessary AAR frequency by simply entering the channel numbers on the keypad, such as 007007 (so the radio will transmit and receive on 160.215), or 094007 (so the radio will transmit on 161.520 and receive on 160.215)….. and so on.

You’ll most often hear them saying something like “go to 14” (160.320).

I usually give channels in my scanner names like “08 Road” and “94 Dispatch”.
