Just recently listening to LW/WR using the Pro2096 and the Pro96 i've notice quite abit of choppy transmission, sometimes unhearable(mostly on the moble units) and today i was manually going thru the LCN's and this seems to be on LCN 2. Then i set the 396T on LCN 2 to see if it will do on that radio and that one seems ok. BTW this is on the Green Mountain site and the Freq is 851.71250. Also to note that LCN 1 is quite the only thing i heard on that was the Indentifer morse code. Anyone else notice this?

Well I gave up trying to listen to the Green Mtn site, that freqency that i listed above is a really weak, it does work fine if open the squelch but then it open for the convention freqencys. So now i'm trying the Mt.Morrison site so far so good.

Only thing is , you will miss some stuff, because some radios will not be affiliated with Morrison depending on their locations--

I'm guessing that Mt Morrison is either a much higher elevation, is pushing a lot more power, or a combination of both. From home, I can't get a strong enough signal from the Green Mtn site to get a lock on the CCs, but Mt Morrison comes in nice and clear. Much less traffic on it though

I had of lot of choppyness on the 2 LCN # like they had a copper flying over them(on Green Mtn), then i open the squelch and went away, the radio went back to scan and open on the first conventional freqency so that got old quick, thats why I decided to try Mt Morrison. I know i'll probebly be giving up some listening on other tgs but at least i'm getting WR.
