Hi everyone, I wanted to what was the software that LAPD uses for reports. I know they use Premier by Motorola for a CAD system but at the stations they have a old school looking program with City Hall on the login screen I was wondering what that program was. THe company and name of it. Thank you

What specifically u looking for? In the station reports? Narratives can be typed using ms word? What u need and y if I may ask!
The lapd uses premier and there is another program they use. Officers are logged on to it in the front desk. Officers have shown me the Premier CAD and how it works and from a far shown me that system im inquring about. The reason I ask is just curiosity to see what system it is and how it works to be familiar with it. I'm a cadet working on becoming LAPD
In my opinion, since this is a public forum your question is best suited to be asked of officers in the station,information such as that may not want to be disclosed. I know the answer, but will not disclose in this forum...again this is my opinion and not of those who manage this forum....

With all due respect to you, I don't think being a smarta** about someone being concerned about OpSec is appropriate. I completely understand his feeling...I had the same concern when I read the OP's post. If you disagree, that is your right, and if you knew the answer and wanted to post, more power to you (which you researched and did). I just think it could have been done without the snide asides to the gentleman who did not feel it was appropriate to post.
I am not starting a flame war, and this is all I have to say about it, but I felt the added comments were unnecessarily inflammatory. <soapbox off>
So if you read Mrbelkor's original post, he stated that he wanted to know what LAPD uses for reports.. The links that are posted above are not what LAPD uses to type reports... If mrbelkor wants to contact me off the board, I can provide information... As I stated above, certain information I feel that should not be divulged here in this forum.... Simple... Now if someone has posted this online already, and he is able to google it.. GREAT.. I am simply stating my opinion...

OK. SO how do you know that the original poster isnt going to use this information for less than honorable uses? If he is not a member of the LAPD why should he have this knowlege if this is do sensative. He states that he is only a cadet trying to get on LAPD so he's most likely a minor. Im sure they will teach him how to write reports in the academy.
