I could comment, but what's the point?
No disparagement intended against you personally, KK4JUG. It just struck me as funny.

Cut him some slack. He articulated his viewpoint well and disagrees. I respect the way he chose to extricate himself from the conversation. Too many people these days double and triple down, making personal attacks on the way out. He did none of that.
lolSorry, mom.
You're absolutely right, Hans. Couldn't agree more.Cut him some slack. He articulated his viewpoint well and disagrees. I respect the way he chose to extricate himself from the conversation. Maybe register radios like guns . Let those without a felony have access to scanning ? Makes sense to me
Samuel Adams said:If ye love wealth better than liberty, the tranquility of servitude better than the animating contest of freedom, go home from us in peace. We ask not your counsels or arms. Crouch down and lick the hands which feed you. May your chains set lightly upon you, and may posterity forget that ye were our countrymen.
I don't want to live in a place that has registration of either radios or guns.
Are you a ham? If not you might consider getting your license. That's a great way to meet folks of all ages, who are into radios of every description.I wish I knew if more people around my age that were into scanners.
I started around age 12 or so...I wish I knew if more people around my age that were into scanners.

Same here; only a few... quite a few.Only a few years older
I am glad at least a majority of our public services here still use analog. I wonder if a lot of this encryption and transition to digital mode is industry driven and promoted.
