I’m using site 2 locked on to it and receiving all EMS, FD, and blinking encrypted LE. Which makes the unit almost useless.
i was hearing that the other day and wondering what it was!! I heard them talking about “lane 1, lane 2” and all this different stuff and was curious as to what it ison sunny days, you can put in the five 8 tacs and listen to FHP on 75 doing speed checks.
usually it is 8tac92.
wtp what are the TG's only see 3 for aircraft listed for FHP?on sunny days, you can put in the five 8 tacs and listen to FHP on 75 doing speed checks.

I had them in radios and sometimes hear in different areas they were busy when on 800 conv back in 2018 during hurricane Michael for a few months.it is not talkgroups, it is the five 8tacs.

Cool. I don't have the simplex in the radios. Is all this analog ? I do have all them in with the pl tone. Was trying to figure out what 8tac92D is.i am home allllllll day and have them in two radios.
you might hear the plane up there as i believe they are on 8tac92D or direct, no repeater.
i hear them calling out cars just north of fort myers. around MM150 on 75.
lee county does have repeaters for the input freqs (45 Mhz below)
ir is not everyday.
I was told these 8 tac frequencies are National Interoperability using a P/L of 210.7 some channels transmit in p 25 (Interoperability Channels )it is not talkgroups, it is the five 8tacs.
