I am out of range for monitoring local simplex use in Livingston County but the frequency is supposed to be available in all Livingston Law radios for an "off-net" simplex channel for local TAC/Talk use.

Dansville was using it until the TRS coverage problem in their area was resolved. All I can say is that it is available in the radios if any agency wants to use it and it should be useful to have a local simplex channel for special events and emergencies.

I've been listening to Local Law Enforcement on 155.130.
If you are listening to 155.130, what are you hearing? As I said, I am out of range for most Livingston departments on 155.130 other than when they were using the County Groveland tower site.

Well,I know it's police, just don't know what department or departments they are, thus the reason for asking.

What about Westchester? It is about 300 miles from Livingston County and there are no agencies within Livingston County named "Westchester".

I am hearing your Livingston 155.130 PL107.2 tonight. It is a link to the Livingston TRS TG 1, Law Enforcement Dispatch - Primary. I thought they took the link down when they got the additional Dansville trunked site in service but it is back on the air for some reason. Just got the CWID KEA535 so it is from the County Groveland site.

Great job figuring this out for @w2csx! It's amazing that you came up with the clever idea of checking the trunked system talkgroup to compare the two, and that it took you a whole 30 seconds to figure it all out! Wow, impressive!

No, it’s called “spoon-fed.” We have to basically feed people because they are too lazy to listen and try to figure it out for themselves and then submit it to the database properly if it hasen’t already been done. Or, conduct a simple search function.

I can’t even count how many times an OP asks a question that is literally right in the database. Add that to the countless times someone ask a question and the same question has been asked and answered over and over again in the forums. A simple keyword search in the forums would have easily pulled the information.

I’m not saying that this was you. I’m simply saying that many of us long time members are getting annoyed. Especially when we see the same people posting the same spoon fed questions in multiple threads.
