I'm wondering who's next? Cambridge or Hamilton Simcoe, or Hamilton Tac 2 Norfolk and Haldimand.

I'll have to be listening to see if I hear dispatch telling units to switch.

Unitrunker shows activity which I can confirm on my BCD 325P2 which flashes activity on hold, but no activity on SDS or 436 scanners

I'd assume Oxford County, then Perth (but I think they fall under London North) Norfolk followed by Brant, and ending with Waterloo Region.

I was monitoring the 149.44 for an entire day in Chatham-Kent and didn't hear a peep from it. I'll monitor today on my road trip across 4 counties all who use the new system and see if I pick anything up.

I think paging is just done via the radio now. Call the unit on the air, no reply then alert call their radio.
UHF vehicle repeaters are gone and are 700 MHz now encrypted if they are using the new system. They flip back to FleetNet, then that VR goes back to analog.

Perth and Oxford are both on East

UHF VR's are still being used in Peel Region ambulances so I'm not sure how soon things will switch here.

I monitored the control channels on the following sites and gathered their adjacencies.

38 Pontypool -> 26 Sunderland, 37 Whitby
26 Sunderland -> 6 Primrose, 37 Whitby, 38 Pontypool, 39 King City, 41 Edgar, 42 Washago
29 Edgar -> 6 Primrose, 26 Sunderland, 30 Penetang, 34 Kimberly, 39 King City, 42 Washago
42 Washago -> 26 Sunderland, 30 Penetang, 41 Edgar

I also plotted the next sites to the east, and drew the magneta dashed lines for the adjacencies I would expect in the next phase.

Site and Adjacency Map with adjacency data from RRDB
Comment with corrections/edits and I'll make an effort to update it.

Selecting "Open Street Map" as the base map is better than the Aerial Photo base map which it seems defaults to.

Niagara Falls should be at "43.08512, -79.07953." Not where it's listed at the Hilton Hotel.

OK, corrected. Now at Skylon.
Thanks.

In other news, I'm no longer seeing the Niagara MTO talkgroup on the Pontypool site, which is across the lake.
That seems to suggest that BMR is actively tuning the RF system config, adjacencies etc. Optimization.

Love the map and thank you for the work in creating it. here is an update. Stratford site 33 has changed. FleetNet is still on it, but the PSRN site is just northwest of Tavistock. There is a new LMRN site just outside of Munroe (45). Munroe is about 7 km south of Mitchell. I can get GPS locations if you wish.

Currently site 33(Tavistock) is only neighbored to site 45(Munroe) but several sites are neighbored into site 33.

OK, There is a Bell Mobility site at N43.326667 W80.854167, and looking at the tower from Google Maps, it has a vertical multi-bay antenna on top, so that must be it. Caltopo map corrected for Site 33, and I added Tavistock to the name.

From an inside source, base paging will no longer be done on the 149 MHz frequency, it will be done on an encrypted paging TG on the system.

P-COM is also gonna be encrypted, and apparently, MTO will eventually encrypt.

Just some useless info since we can't listen. But Essex County EMS units talker alias shows as EW then the truck number. EW=Essex Windsor
not sure on C-K but i would assume they use CK
Lambton County is LC

Maybe that explains these alert calls I see often

Looking at my logs.. It seems groups 23xxx are the hospital groups and 24xxx are the EMS base pager group. The number of 24xxx groups I see off the Sarnia site lines up with the number of EMS stations in the county

The correct location for the Niagara Falls LMRN site is 43.083056,-79.083611

It is not on the Skylon Tower anymore. There is a microwave link to the Fort Erie site as well.

So I should move it back to the Fallsview Hotel where I had it to start with?
TAFL shows MOH PCOM at the Fallsview on a 2014 dated ISED license record.

Based on signal strength, I would say it's probably accurate. That said of course, the locations are fairly close to each other so it's probably pedantic to change it on a map since they're like half a km apart.
