Perth and Oxford are both on EastI'd assume Oxford County, then Perth (but I think they fall under London North) Norfolk followed by Brant, and ending with Waterloo Region.
I was monitoring the 149.44 for an entire day in Chatham-Kent and didn't hear a peep from it. I'll monitor today on my road trip across 4 counties all who use the new system and see if I pick anything up.
I think paging is just done via the radio now. Call the unit on the air, no reply then alert call their radio.
UHF vehicle repeaters are gone and are 700 MHz now encrypted if they are using the new system. They flip back to FleetNet, then that VR goes back to analog.
Niagara Falls should be at "43.08512, -79.07953." Not where it's listed at the Hilton Hotel.
Love the map and thank you for the work in creating it. here is an update. Stratford site 33 has changed. FleetNet is still on it, but the PSRN site is just northwest of Tavistock. There is a new PSRN site just outside of Munroe (45). Munroe is about 7 km south of Mitchell. I can get GPS locations if you wish.
Currently site 33(Tavistock) is only neighbored to site 45(Munroe) but several sites are neighbored into site 33.
Maybe that explains these alert calls I see oftenFrom an inside source, base paging will no longer be done on the 149mhz frequency, it will be done on a encrypted paging TG on the system.
PCOM is also gonna be encrypted, and apparently, MTO will eventually encrypt.
So I should move it back to the Fallsview Hotel where I had it to start with? The correct location for the Niagara Falls PSRN site is 43.083056,-79.083611
It is not on the Skylon Tower anymore. There is a microwave link to the Fort Erie site as well.
