Has anyone ever found a use for old Lojack 173.075 MHZ tracking receivers? Can they modified for use on other frequencies?
Are they still on business?
Yes and LE actively still tracks themAre they still on business? I have a couple of them and one is equipped for movement if the security Fob is not inside the car with the keys. Years ago I would get email, text, and telephone notifications if I didn't leave the keys inside when I transport the car in my trailer. I no longer get those notifications and I'm sure the battery in the Fob has to be dead now.
Early last year I bought four Optimus Tracking System devices. The recurring annual cost is a tad expensive as compared to Low Jack. Although, you xsn manage the tracking via the internet whereas LoJack you couldn'tYes and LE actively still tracks them

Only if the fox is reported stolen!I never bothered to ask if they could be re-purposed into fox hunting receivers.
