Hello: Just saw your post about LTR - I know the owner of Atlantic C ommunications in Hampton- I will see if I can get any info. Do you have any info on James City-York system?

Thanks

I've logged some data using LTRTrunk as follows.

2-036 and 10-036 appear to be a medical transport company dispatched out of Glouchester.

4-116 is some kind of anamal control (dog catcher).

Hello,

There is a new beta of LTRDump that has improved logging. It now has better decoding and time stamps.

http://www.radioreference.com/modules.php?name=Forums&file=viewtopic&t=10074

I looked at the ltrdump.txt file and noticed right away that the decoding is very poor. If a talkgroup is active you should be getting at least 5 to 7 good frames per second. It looks like a poor signal or a slicer without a low-pass filter. There was also some minor bugs in the beta ec2 that put extra frames with all zeros. Reducing the errors will make it easier to figure out the system.

Thanks for taking a look Eric, I have replaced both exe files with the 5 May changes. I'll run the system sometime today and compare results. Thanks to you and Rick for the programs.

I also am documenting TRS and P25 transmissions I can hear from my location in Prince George County near Petersburg. My focus currently is on Peninsula TRS I can hear on 450-465 mhz. with my 796D and tower mounted antennas. Anyone having detailed confirmed TRS frequency/channel relationships and confirmed user id reception information is welcome to contact me at <jwilson9@erols.com> for possible frequency/info file exchange on LTR and other TRS. Unfortunately with some LTR systems not all licensed frequencies are used. Additionally, with some LTR systems there seems to be a default frequency that most comms defer to if not in use. Light comm traffic does not activate additional assigned LTR frequencies. Finally some users transmit infrequently. It can be difficult to document a system totally.

Regarding a previous post ref. "animal control", WPNP427, Gately Comm.
Newport News, 451.7875 mhz. (beginning LTR frequency)01-01-141 is the York Co. Animal Control. There may be two LTR animal controls on different TRS, but I heard this one call "York".
