The system is phase 2.

Understood, but there is both Phase 1 and Phase 2 activity, at least on the sites I can hear. For example, on the White Tanks site I have about the same number of hits in the last couple days (318) in Phase 1 as I do in Phase 2 (302)

I have yet to monitor a single Phase 1 talkgroup on this system. I have logged dozens of talkgroups, including many listed in this thread, from the Chandler/Mesa simulcast and all have been Phase 2.

Same here, haven't observed phase 1 yet, but I'm only able to monitor "downtown" most of the time.

Those Phase 1 hits might have been from testing.

I will set the talkgroups to "T" in the database.

The two patched TG’s sound like transport units talking to a dispatcher. [the ones in the picture I posted earlier].

Hi guys, hoping some of you new Maricopa County P25 experts can answer a question for me. I noticed the comment above about the database update so in Sentinel I tried to download an update and was told I had the latest. I see on RR that there are updated talk groups, detentions, new sites etc yet, in the copy I have in Sentinel that it says is the latest I still only have the one "Initial Testing" group as shown below. Clicking on any of the site names simply gives me their list of frequencies.

I'd read somewhere that updates come out on Monday but will check again but I did notice 2 other things.... if you look at the screenshot, the DB on RR shows slightly different frequencies, shouldn't the update Sentinel downloads from RR match?

Also, you'll notice it's even missing sites, like Smith Peak and Phoenix Simulcast.

Why is my sentinel not getting the latest from RR and why are the frequencies off?

Is there an area on the site where people can share their exported code plugs for others to use to see what a properly configured scanner file looks like etc... like we use to do.

Thanks guys.
Jen

Interesting... I just checked using Proscan and it seems to have downloaded the sites I was missing using Sentinel (Smith Peak as an example), it downloaded the talk groups, the frequencies are still off by 5kc (or whatever that is).... so wonder why my Sentinel won't download the new stuff.

@jjbond Uniden pulls the database once a week on Sunday, and is available in Sentinel on Monday morning. That's it, just once per week, so if anything gets added after Sunday afternoon/evening, it'll be another week until it finally appears in Sentinel.

ProScan pulls data directly from the database live, in real time. In that respect, it'll always be up to the minute. If I change something in the database right now, anyone would be able to grab it immediately with ProScan (or other third party software), whereas Sentinel users have to wait until next Monday to get it.

The frequencies are the same, Uniden drops the trailing "5" and only shows four digits to the right of the decimal point. It's a visual thing, not a functional thing.

I can confirm earlier reports of 2701 being Lake Pleasant RP. They were talking on it several times today about traffic in and around the park and other park related topics.

Are you all running in ID Search mode due to still discovering the actual ID's?

I always run ID Search mode! This way one sees all the activity on the sites being monitored.

When I am in the mood for looking for new activity I start locking out known talkgroups as they are identified, then any activity heard is unknown talkgroups. It is a great way to help map out a new system.

Thanks N9JIG..... have an email sent to HRO here in town to make sure they have the updated SDS200's in stock and am going to go pick one up today (have the 100)... I can find one about $50.00 cheaper online (no tax, shipping and confirmed updated) but I'm a strong believer in supporting our local store, we're lucky to have them here to go in and chat with.... if anyones bought a 200 from them recently and it's had the mod, let me know..

Thanks again.

1636, 1639 and 1641 all sound like Transportation for Detention. 1639 & 1641 are patched.

TG 2001 they have been talking to "Control" and reported they are at "Reynolds, on the way to San Tan". Does this help identify this?

I think 2001 is Court Security.

MCSO, Probation, and Court/Jail Transport are still on the old system.
