Here are some of my guesses based on monitoring. As p19997 mentioned, there are a lot of patches that is making it a little difficult to positively identify.

1001 MCSO West
1005 MCSO Emergency (emergency traffic is patched with this talkgroup)
1007 MCSO East
1009 Constables, order service, etc.

1011 MCSO Encrypted.

I have also been monitoring the old system which has been silent with the exception of a few calls in the morning where they were told to use "the new radios".

Most of the traffic that I have heard on 1001, from 1001, has been East traffic. 1007 -> 1001 traffic is much less, and 1004 -> 1001 is rare. That may enable someone who listens a lot to MCSO and is familiar with traffic patterns to speculate which TG's are which.

By the way, alerts seem to be "simulcast" on all dispatch channels.

Does anyone know or have the mapping of MCSO Districts to dispatch talkgroups? I have no idea which districts would be considered Central.

Central is the court service deputies, they're the ones who serve subpoenas and other court orders countywide.

Does anyone know what the optimum filter setting is for the system? I get a lot of talkgroup flashing on and off, and it's not due to encryption.

@KB7MIB I wish I knew the answer for as many times as you've helped me. My LP filter is off and Threshold is Auto. Many ID's are coming in on 7 and mostly 8 for me.

If I uploaded recordings for the new system, IDS, would that be useful to anyone for figuring them out?

I think it's going to take a couple of days for the dust to settle - the DB is showing multiples of West, but only one East, etc.

What's listed as West (1001) seems to have a lot of east side traffic (Addresses in Gilbert, Queen Creek, etc. District 1?) unless I am mistaken.

I typically listened to Lake Patrol more so than West/East so I'm not sure this is any help at all.

What I heard this morning, before I went back to bed, was both West and East on 1002, but only East on 1003. So, the patch was only one way.

I heard a dispatcher on old Central say that new Central would be A-09, so 1009 should be the new Central.

I haven't listened much this afternoon or early evening.

A possible correction. If MCSO's TG's and channels start at 1001, then 1009 would be A-09 Central Dispatch.

However, if the TG's and channels start at 1000, then 1008 would be A-09 Central Dispatch.

Just a thought.

They are using many sites. Looks at the Sites in the system in the database and use the site(s) closest to your area.

Remember too that while some talkgroups may be hardcoded to certain sites not all talkgroups will transmit on all sites all the time, it depends on system radio affiliations and system programming.
