I had a 1059 pop up. I'm watching the Diamondbacks game, and trying to catch what TG the deputies inside Chase Field might be using. I'm trying to focus on the Phoenix simulcast, since in the past, the Special Detail nC TG's were only carried on the closest site. So, Chase Field deputies on Special Detail 1C were only heard on the Central Courts site.

It was just a pop-up, I didn't see if it was encrypted. I'm still trying to find a filter setting that gives me a decent decode percentage so I can actually get consistent audio from a transmission.

I also saw TG 2502 patched with 1104. So, another Probation TG. (One series is probably adult probation, and the other is probably juvenile. They patched on the old system, too.)

Sheriff was a county wide channel on the old system. Chain gang was on it for a bit until they moved them. It is for the other county agency’s to contact dispatch in an emergency.

I am pretty sure that 1009 is Central (constables, court services, etc.) and that 1011 is Information (encrypted).

As for the rest, I am unsure. However, I hear traffic for multiple East districts on 1001 and 1007 from chandler-mesa simulcast. I therefore do not believe that the TG's are specific to districts. Since West seems to have two talkgroups too, maybe what is going on is that they are splitting East and West into two talkgroups. It may be something like East North, East South, West North, West South.

I have speculated (with no real foundation) that perhaps each District was assigned a talkgroup and they patch them as needed to fit the available dispatch positions. If this is so then it would explain the multiple talkgroups carrying traffic on the different sides of the valley.

So I've been monitoring the new system for a couple of days now - anyone know the trick to get Global ACG to work on a PRO-668? I have the option set in my general tab and have tried to set it at the site level as well. Neither option seems to work, and the new system is twice as loud as the Phase 1 sites I monitor.

With no verbal warning MCSO just switched WEST traffic from TG 1003 to 1002, this happened at exaclty 12 noon, also last night around 4pm they went from 1002 to 1003.

Has anybody confirmed a TGID (or IDs) for Lake Patrol, specifically the East side Lakes, Lower Salt & trails?

See previous page.

If D1 has hot traffic it can be separated from D4, D6 & D7.

Same for D2, separate it from D3. So far no tactical talkgroups have been used hot calls.

Just heard an alert go out on 1005 on Chandler-Mesa simulcast. This channel is currently believed to be the Lakes District talkgroup. Apparently, these alerts go out over all patrol talkgroups.

I feel that the Maricopa County Probation Department and the Sun City West Sheriff's Posse talkgroups should be under their own separate entries, rather than included under the MCSO entry.

I also feel that the Flood Control District of Maricopa County should be under its own entry, rather than under Miscellaneous as it is now.

For Probation, I have seen TG's 1101-1108, plus 1110, which I believe is a Tac or Warrant Service TG. I believe these are Adult Probation TG's. I have also seen TG's 2501 and 2502. I believe these are Juvenile Probation. There is patching going on between them. I saw 2502 patched to 1104, I believe it was.

Just some observations and thoughts.
