Two Selfridge tankers up for Operation Centennial Contact. Headed to Alpena for their next flyover. A-10's aren't showing up on ADS-B or FlightRadar 24.

I went to BTL with hopes of seeing them, but low cloud deck and they were above 6000', so no joy. We did hear them, though. $@!# Canadian wildfires....

I was sitting on the front porch & heard this bad boy coming. He did a go around with gear down. I went into the house to get a scanner to try to find out why he went around. Conditions were clear. After landing on the 2nd approach, he said he was having trouble picking up the ILS.

Starts next week, Sounds like there will be a participant from Asia joining. Their flight is due in next week. I'm sure we will get the usual RAF A330 and C-17 /A400 bird Sunday or Monday.

FROZN61 Alaska C-17 99-0167 flew into Oscoda at 1815 from Anchorage and just departed back north at 2010, possibly bringing in equipment for NS 23 or Northern Agility 23 which starts next week and goes from 7/31 - 8/8.
