246.900 Air to Ground coordination for flyover "I'll be putting my arrestor hook down for the flyover" (7:42PM)
118.950 Climbing up to 6,000 for fuel dump (8:07PM)
246.900 "Headed back to Willow Run, that was f*cking awesome!" (8:09PM)
125.275 Willow Run Tower, requesting landing, 2 miles out (8:12PM)
Was out there to see the departure and arrival. They made 118.95(Detroit Approach/Departure) airboss freq and Appr/Dep and LT Lentz were talking about his trip, He said he went downtown and spent sometime with family. Pilot seemed like a cool guy. Here is what I heared:
119.975 YIP Ground: "EMPIRE11 hear you loud and clear"... "Im picking up clearance" (Had some issues with Clearance just to ultimately come back)
EMPIRE11: Yeah I'm just looking to go 6 miles south of the stadium and hold then fly over at 2,000 feet
Ground: What is the 3 letter idenifier to the airport you are headed to?
EMPIRE11: *Took him some time* " Y,I,P"
Ground gave him clearance and EMPIRE11 sat on Txwy Golf to do an engine runup and burn time before taking off to hold briefly.
