Something to be on the lookout for later this year, a single F/A-18F from VFA-106 "Gladiators" will conduct a flyover over Michigan Stadium on 9/11 and 4 F-15E's from the 333rd Fighter Squadron will flyover on November 6th.

The A-10's were using "HUNTER" callsigns, besides the 273.250 A/A traffic I heard one of them coordinating with someone in the stadium for the flyover on 361.250. I missed the traffic on 123.150, nice find. I did hear the parachute plane talking with DTW on 118.950.

2 C-130's circling south of Lansing. Probably a flyby for the Spartans game.
371.975 A/A. I haven't heard them talking for awhile now.

Chuck, that 371.975 may have been a couple B-2s doing a flyover for the Ohio football game, I show that freq as Columbus Departure. Here are all the freqs I logged MISTY11 & MISTY12 on earlier, in no particular order:

284.625 Cleveland ATC
317.625 Indianapolis ATC
341.700 Unknown, "MISTY11 & MISTY12 going to 323.050"
323.050 Chicago ATC
371.975 Columbus Departure
317.975 Columbus Approach
310.800 Indianapolis ATC
269.625 Cleveland ATC
341.750 MISTY11 & MISTY12 A/A

Was out there to see the departure and arrival. They made 118.95(Detroit Approach/Departure) airboss freq and Appr/Dep and LT Lentz were talking about his trip, He said he went downtown and spent sometime with family. Pilot seemed like a cool guy. Here is what I heared:
119.975 YIP Ground: "EMPIRE11 hear you loud and clear"... "Im picking up clearance" (Had some issues with Clearance just to ultimately come back)
EMPIRE11: Yeah I'm just looking to go 6 miles south of the stadium and hold then fly over at 2,000 feet
Ground: What is the 3 letter idenifier to the airport you are headed to?
EMPIRE11: *Took him some time* " Y,I,P"
Ground gave him clearance and EMPIRE11 sat on Txwy Golf to do an engine runup and burn time before taking off to hold briefly.

Semi-mil: I just saw this flying over the Novi area, and it landed at YIP. FR24 said the flight plan was Keflavic to Riga, which was obviously an error, but it did fly over the pond.(FR24 also ID'd plane as a C-130, as did my ears, which is what made me look it up.)

Good catch. I've seen those going to YIP before. Looks like they have at least 3 aircraft. Lyndon Air Cargo. LYC is their identifier.

Found a 4th aircraft with an N#.

Another interesting flight to watch for is CVK, Cavok Air. They fly AN-12's.

Cavok Air has some nice looking Antonov 12's, I saw one back in May here in Detroit. Are there any coming in soon?
