Just had three planes go over Ann Arbor, spaced a few mins apart, heading to Selfridge from Jacksonville, FL. I am guessing there will be more.

1 P-3 and 3 P-8s from from NAS Jacksonville all flew into Selfridge due to Hurricane Elsa that is gonna hit in a day or 2.

The Orion would explain why I heard a twin prop.

I should have been able to recognize the sound of that one, since my last active duty had two squadrons of them. I guess there was more noise than I realized, while I was at work.

Royal Air Force is going to be dropping into Detroit Metro(DTW) sometime this week in support of Operation Northern Strike. A A330MRTT and either A400 or C-17 will be coming in, to clear customs. Just a heads up.

Northern mi is starting to pick up with Guard traffic today 7-22 with Operation northern Strike about to begin news states M32 near Alpena will be closed for part of day Aug 5th to test landing A-10 an C-146 aircraft on highway should be great listening an spotting . Stay tuned!!!
